Cradle’s birth

Matt and Joe met through work in 2000 and became good friends, which resulted in Joe being Matt’s best man in 2007. It is from this friendship that we both realised that our separate areas of expertise would be a perfect fit and so the decision was made to go into business together.

When it came to a name, we wanted it to mean something to us and hopefully our clients. Obviously the word cradle immediately brings to mind words such as, protection, safety and nurture, which we aim to do with all our clients. In addition to the meaning, each letter of Cradle represents the first names of our wives and children………Carol, Rhian, Amelie, Daniel, Liam and Erin. Thus Cradle Overseas Pensions Limited was born. However Matt and Rhian have since had another child, William, which has thrown a spanner in the works but we would welcome any idea’s to get a W into the name!!!
